Piwakawaka and Kakapo classes worked hard all day Friday to create a celebration for the essential workers in Waimate. Their hard work has been displayed outside the school gates for locals to admire. Some of their creativity in the form of posters and hand made flowers were sent to local essential workers like the police, elderly care homes and supermarket workers. Well done essential workers and Waimate Centennial students in Kakapo and Piwakawaka classrooms.
